These are a few utilities or extensions to be used with Zap. If you don't know what Zap is, go to its homepage and don't come back here until it's in your boot sequence!
   Zap PlugIn
Zap PlugIn Zap PlugIn

This provides support within Zap for the PlugIn protocol. It allows Zap windows to be embedded within browser windows, or any other application supporting the protocol. It allows, for example, an integrated development environment to be written without having to worry about text-editing facilities - these are provided by Zap, sitting in the parent window as if it were all one application.

ZapPlugIn's new icon is courtesy of Justin Fletcher and his Draw plugin. Do you like it? Look, it's a Zap, and it's plugged in, and it's alight! It's on! Do you get it? Ha ha!

   Zap EAsm
Zap EAsm Zap EAsm

This is a syntax colouring mode for EAsm files. EAsm is an assembler for Microchip's PIC and Atmel's AVR range of microcontrollers. It makes the job of using EAsm very much easier.

It is also a fair implementation of a Zap colouring mode, so you may find its source useful as a base for other modes. The mode is based very much on Martin Ebourne's Assembler mode (in ZapMJE) - thanks to him and the Zap developers for making the source available.

   Fix ZapFonts
Fix ZapFonts Fix ZapFonts

Some versions of the ZapFonts archive were broken causing some of the font files to have an incorrect file type. Zap could cope with this, but programs like Messenger had trouble, so this scans the entire resource and corrects the type of all the files.

I believe this problem has been fixed in the current release of ZapFonts.
